The drinks aisle is full of beautiful bottles made to look different, while everything inside tastes strangely familiar.

We wanted more!

More flavour. More care. More connection to the ingredients and the people making the drink.

So we started Sansa.

We’re Raf and Asana. A family making small-batch drinks in our little kitchen. Inspired by drinks shared across Africa and shaped by the city we grew up in.

We source the ingredients, brew every batch, taste it, tweak it, bottle it, label it and pack it ourselves. It takes longer. It creates an unreasonable amount of washing-up. But it means our hands, hearts and standards are in every bottle.

Our hibiscus iced tea came first. A hibiscus cordial is on the way, with more experiments quietly causing trouble in the kitchen.

Sansa is here for people looking beyond the usual or the now health conscious brands lacking nuance. The flavour curious and anyone who believes a drink should offer more than attractive branding.

We’re small, independent and still improving with every batch.

The ambition is slightly less modest:
